ornamented life

If I were to choose my choice metal, it's gold...{my timekeeper is my gold Casio watch}. So when I came across these stylish dishes by Danish designers, Ornamented Life, I was drawn to the balance of subtle and bold gold accents. The dinnerware line is called "Crackery Crockery" and the design is enamel flowers and plants growing out of cracks and chips that are filled with 24K gold. With each piece being unique {above photos show just a handful of motifs}, I think their pieces work as a solo accent on the table or as collection ware. I think I also just like the idea of finding beauty in the broken or flawed...
